Strong usage of iridescent silver paint gives this piece a reflective surface, resulting in a painting which changes dramatically according to the viewer’s relative positioning. No reference photos were used.
The baitfish swarm rises from the depths to feed on plankton at the water’s surface. While the masses huddle together for safety from predators, the lead fish push on ahead to search for the day’s rations and ways to evade the ever present predators.
